Multi-Ride Ticket Fare Increase – Effective July 14, 2009

Effective July 14, there will be a 3% fare increase for all Capitol Corridor multi-ride tickets (10-ride and monthly passes). This relatively modest increase will help supplement the limited financial support we receive from the state budget allocation and enable us to continue to deliver the level and quality of service you’ve come to expect from the Capitol Corridor. Our fares, especially the multi-ride ticket prices, are more than competitive with costs for auto travel on a cost-per-mile basis, and we are doing our best to keep them that way.
